Crowns
- What is a crown? It is a type of dental restoration that, unlike a surface filling, fully covers the portion of a tooth that lies at and above the gum line and becomes the tooth’s new outer surface. Crowns can be made out of porcelain, metal or a combination of both.

Extractions

If Dr. Pete finds tooth decay, he will recommend surface fillings. Decay is detected by visual inspection for discolored spots, with an instrument to test the softness of the tooth or through X-rays that show decay below the surface. Click here to read more about fillings

Contrary to what many believe, a root canal doesn’t cause pain, it alleviates pain and discomfort that is only likely to worsen if the underlying problem is left untreated.
