THOSE DARN KIDS

Knocking out front teeth is such a common occurrence with kids. But, if you know what to do with the teeth that are knocked out, it can be a relatively quick fix to get your child’s smile back to normal in no time. This photo is with one of my patients only hours after getting his teeth knocked out! Check out what his dad had to say.
My 10-year-old son Adam fell on the blacktop on the school playground, breaking off large pieces of his two front (adult!) teeth. I called the dentist office from the car on my way from work to school and Dr. Pete personally gave me instructions on how to preserve the teeth until we could get to his office. When we arrived at the office 30 minutes later, Dr. Pete and his staff were extremely accommodating as they worked to take care of our dental emergency. Less than 90 minutes later, Adam was walking out looking “good as new” with both teeth fragments firmly re-attached! The accident occurred at 10:30am and Adam was back at school by 1:00pm looking no different than he had that morning before the accident. His teachers and classmates who had seen him after the accident were amazed!
Thanks, Dr. Pete!
